In 2004, my young career started in a Tokyo Steak House located in Clovis California. In 2013, I moved to Minnesota seeking a better opportunity. I love the great outdoors and all the activities here. While I'm very competitive, I know there's always room for growth. I enjoy learning new techniques and improving in anyway I can. Seeing customer’s satisfaction is always a joy. The LemonGrass crew is hard working and wonderful. There are no limitations to our creativitiy at LG, which encourage everyone to explore possibilities for new and exciting rolls very month. So Stop by and experience what our sushi has to offer.
Ernest Robledo, born in California but raised in Minnesota started cooking at a young age making traditional Filipino meals with his mother and his 'Lola'. Got his start as a dishwasher at the age of 14 in a small town restaurant to jumping up as a line cook before even turning 15. From there, he's spent his life and passion honing his craft in various kitchens, from American Regional to Japanese/Sushi. From quitting culinary school to holding title as head chef for a downtown Minneapolis hotspot, he prides himself in the work he immerses in and the 'art' he delivers. He praises his son Apollo for being the reason he never quit and he'll never settle. "Stay humble always, know your faults, and NEVER stop learning, because there's always a better you."
